  • Cheers and Prosperity: A Dive into India, The Hope of the Youth, and Highlights from JCCI’s Monthly Sales and Production Conference

In the pursuit of knowledge and exploration for this new year, we delved into India’s culture and the recent learnings from the recent NASSCOM Technology and Leadership Forum. The JCCI-EDI Monthly Sales and Production Conference, held last March 16, 2024, and hosted by John Clements Leadership Institute (JCLI), was a learning experience, a celebration of work efforts, and a recognition of excellence.

Celebrating Cultural Diversity

We commenced with an icebreaker session focusing on Indian culture, engaging participants in guessing notable festivals (such as Diwali and Durga Puja), sharing insights into Hinduism (from their gods to their beliefs), and discussing iconic symbols in India (like the lotus flower and the tiger).

Recognizing Excellence: March 2023 Award Recipients

Exemplary performances for the month were duly recognized and upheld as reflections of the company’s core values and beliefs, which we can all embody in our constant pursuit of excellence. These individuals served as great examples of hard work and integrity bearing fruit in the workplace.

The recipients of awards for March 2023 were Mr. Carlo Lao from the Service Delivery Hub for Top Sales Consultant of the Month; and Ms. Andrea Cinco for Top Production Consultant of the Month.

Unveiling the Shining Stars of Our Tech-Driven Era

Following this, Ms. Alexandra Lamb Moran and Dr. Grace Alcid shared insights from their business trip to India for the NASSCOM event, where they encountered brilliant representatives of the youth dubbed as “The Shining Stars of Our Tech-Driven Era.” Through videos and interviews, we were introduced to Heman Bekele, an impressive 14-year-old scientist who invented a skin cancer-treating soap, showing an endless thirst for curiosity and advancement. Another interesting figure was Prasiddhi Singh, an 11-year-old environmentalist of the Prasiddhi Forest Foundation, advocating for the planet’s longevity and biodiversity protection. These individuals showcased the wonders achievable by youthful insight, alongside the imperative of preserving natural resources in this era of rapid technological advancement.

Additionally, senior management and company executives shared their experiences with Indian culture, highlighting the diversity of their memories and perceptions about the country. India was perceived as an icon in cybersecurity, start-ups, and growth, setting an example that the Philippines can emulate and eventually achieve.

Dressed to Impress: Adding Flair and Fun

Of course, the JCCI – EDI Monthly Sales and Production Conference wouldn’t be complete without some fun. So, to add spice to the mix, we also acknowledged employees who immersed themselves in the culture by dressing in their best Indian-style clothes.

As we conclude the Sales and Production conference, the JCCI family looks forward to continued success and achievement in the coming years. Join us in our journey as we create more wonderful memories and reach several milestones!

Cheers!
