Clements Goes Thematic at Glorietta Job Fair

“It pays to have the heavyweight on your side,” said
banners, flyers and tent cards emblazoned with the red boxing glove
now associated with the most recent John Clements ad campaign, and
recently displayed at the Job Fair at the Glorietta Activity Center
held from October 17 to 19, 2005. Recruitment consultants saturating
the place wore specially made t-shirts saying “have the heavyweight
on your side” while they made the rounds, encouraging job
seekers to visit the boxing-ring booth—complete with ropes.
Music from the official soundtrack of Rocky blared from speakers,
adding the final touch to the theme.
With the recent October graduation of college seniors, more and
more people are joining the workforce and flocking to job fairs
as a first step towards finding a job. To quell the anxiety associated
with landing one’s first job, John Clements reassures fresh
graduates that its 31 years’ experience in human resources
is there to help them find the right kind of employment in whatever
field they studied. During the job fair, approximately 2,500 resumés
were submitted for screening and follow-up interviews.
