John Clements Hosts LA Recruitment Brunch for Dell

During a Sunday brunch at the Hilton Anaheim in Los Angeles, on October 2, 2005, John Clements gave California-based Filipinos a chance to participate in the much-acclaimed BPO industry through the new BPO being set up by computer industry leader Dell in the Philippines.

The few dozen Filipinos invited included the top professionals in their respective fields, much like their New York counterparts who had been likewise invited a few weeks prior. Like most US-based Filipinos, most of the attendees were just waiting for the right job opportunity to convince them to pack up and head back to the Philippines. A decided majority of them believe that Dell’s offer is that much-awaited opportunity.

With the growing need for skilled and experienced leaders in the BPO industry, more and more Filipinos abroad are seeing a better professional future and are returning to go where they are most needed.
