John Clements Bares Job Opportunities for Returning Singapore-based Filipinos

During their weekend stay in Singapore, John Clements President and CEO Carol Dominguez and Vice President and Managing Director Grace Sorongon spoke to the Filipinos working there to inform those who were returning that it is now possible to pursue a profitable career in their homeland.

With the help of Philippine Consul Relasion, the John Clements executives spoke with several Filipinos, mainly at the Bayanihan Center. After giving their speeches, Ms. Dominguez and Ms. Sorongon had one-on-one interviews with the audience to gain a firsthand account of their lives and the kind of work they do there. They were then told of the many career options available with the expanding BPO industry in the Philippines—a viable option for those whose contracts were going to expire. Their experience working abroad make them ideal candidates, having enough technical expertise, communication skills and social acumen to deal with foreigners through a BPO.

The news was well received and gained a very positive reaction, given the increased local career opportunities now available to balikbayan professionals.
