EDI Staffbuilders Celebrates 28th Anniversary
By Aris Metin and E.A. Martinez
On September 6, 2007, EDI-Staffbuilders, one of the Philippines’ most-awarded international recruitment firms and a fully-owned John Clements subsidiary, celebrated its 28th year with a formal dinner party held at Red, the Makati Shangri-La’s premier restaurant. Hosting the event was Cesar A. Averia, Jr., the President and CEO of EDI-Staffbuilders.
In attendance were various clients, such as KONE Elevators from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates; KK Kingston from Papua New Guinea; IREM from the United Arab Emirates; Mitsubishi from Japan; Transgulf GTE from Sri Lanka; Basamh Trading and 4D Steel from New Zealand; and representatives from the embassies of Nigeria, Qatar, Sudan and Saudi Arabia, and officials from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.
The festivities culminated in the special toast given by Carol Dominguez, President and CEO of John Clements, for Mr. Averia, who also celebrated his 50th birthday that day. Mr. Averia likewise gave a speech, emphasizing EDI Staffbuilders’ strength—people who are efficient, results-driven and have a high standard of integrity. EDI Staffbuilders takes pride in its contribution in making things better for so many client-companies and making several Filipino families’ lives better.
