It is not uncommon for EDI-Staffbuilders clients to find competent Overseas Filipino Workers abroad; should they decide to take on these OFWs, and they accept the offer, the OFWs will need to be return to the Philippines and be re-processed by the POEA and have their visas renewed at the embassies concerned. As EDI-Staffbuilders has been providing such processing services since their inception, their clients took to sending their workers to EDI’s offices for processing and re-dispatching to their new employers.

This pattern was noticed by late John Clements President Leocadio Dominguez, and the TA service was developed. Named after the 180-degree turn an OFW makes, reporting to an office, getting processed, turning around and going back, the service streamlines the recruitment process. As the workers are already known to the clients, they no longer need to go through the sourcing, interviewing and documents processing other candidates undergo. There is also no doubt as to the client’s faith in the workers’ ability to deliver. Candidates, on the other hand, stand to advance their career and get re-hired with higher salaries.
