On behalf of the client, EDI-Staffbuilders sources,
recruits and deploys employees to their destination for a fee of
up to 25 percent, depending on the volume of employees hired.
A partnership with the Rizal Commercial Banking
Corporation (RCBC) allows EDI-Staffbuilders to bankroll the employees’
salaries, giving them dollar accounts, using their initial salary
as the initial deposit. This in turn benefits the employees, as
70 per cent of their salaries are remitted to their beneficiaries,
as part of the service. The remaining amount goes to the employees
for their own expenses. As part of taking care of the employees’
payroll, EDI-Staffbuilders also takes care of their benefits—SSS,
Pag-IBIG, Philealth, and so on. As with all OFWs, no withholding
tax is charged employees hired through MSSC. Lastly, EDI-Staffbuilders
files visa applications on behalf of the employees.
By the time the employees are deployed abroad,
EDI-Staffbuilders will pay them their salaries through their bank
accounts, and will in turn bill the client. Clients who give several
benefits can also save money, since only the basic benefits need
to be paid the employees.
The service saves time and money, as the deployed
workers no longer need to go out and send money to their beneficiaries,
as well as generate savings, as bank charges no longer need to be
paid; EDI-Staffbuilders handles both these activities as part of
the MSSC.
