Dell
Holds Business Forum in Cebu

In their desire to build a relationship with the members of the
Cebu business community, Dell International Services Philippines
Inc. hosted a business forum on March 23, 2006 at the Cebu Marriott
Hotel. The company also paid visits to local academic institutions
such as the University of San Carlos and the University of Cebu.
The
international computer manufacturing company had recently opened
its call center operation in the Mall of Asia in Pasay City and,
according to Country Manager Mike Garrison, was encouraged by
the positive performance of Dell’s current Philippine contact
center personnel. Mr. Garrison also told a local newspaper that
expanding its operations to Cebu was not one of its immediate
priorities; he said the company is still open to the possibility.
Dell
International Services has 30 call center operations worldwide,
located in countries like India, the United States, Canada, Panama,
El Salvador, Ireland and China.
